FAQ
We have different types of magnetic boxes in our range.
(fixed)
Stands for fixed magnetic boxes. Due to the low height (usually less than 3cm), we do not use adhesive corners or similar here.
All other sizes are supplied flat. Here too, sustainability is our top priority. The flat storage saves more than 80% of the storage space. This makes storage easier for you and us and enables significantly more efficient shipping.
All flat-packed magnetic boxes can be assembled in just a few seconds without any practice and are at least as stable as permanently assembled magnetic boxes.
For our high-quality magnetic boxes, we use extremely strong premium adhesive corners that can withstand even heavy products or gifts.
We always recommend choosing screen printing. Embossing is only required for shiny metallic effects such as gold or silver.
We are happy to create a print approval before the order is placed. Send us the print data as a vector file (EPS, AI, PDF, ZIP) by e-mail and tell us the desired packaging size / colour.
Vector files are mathematically defined images that are made up of dots on a grid. Raster files consist of coloured blocks, commonly referred to as pixels. Vector files can be scaled indefinitely without affecting the resolution.

Vector graphics are required for printing in order to be able to produce tools such as the screen (screen printing) or the metal embossing stamp (embossing). As a rule, any graphics agency can convert your files into vector graphics.
Premium print data service
If more extensive work on the print data is required, we offer a professional premium print data service, which is charged on an hourly basis. Our graphic designers and print data professionals offer the following services:
- Vectorise: Pixel logos are vectorised. This is a prerequisite for creating an embossing stamp or finishing with hot foil or effect varnish.
- Image processing: Existing images are optimised and prepared for printing.

Hot foil stamping:
For technical reasons, the maximum embossing area is limited to 17x17cm per embossing.
Larger motifs must be split into two embossing processes - please contact our service team in advance.
Screen printing:
The print must be at least 1.5 cm from all edges.
We offer our customers two options here. As standard, it is sufficient for us if you send us the motif/logo as a vectorised file together with the placement request.
Layout
If you prefer to do the placement on our layout template yourself, we will be happy to send you the layout.

Screen printing: Due to the tools required, the minimum production time is 1 - 1.5 weeks. We are happy to dispatch the order directly by express or courier. Please contact us before or after ordering for this option.
Even though the configurator currently only shows magnetic boxes, all our premium and slip lid boxes can also be printed. Due to the extremely large selection of colours, these are not yet available in this version of the configurator.

Basically all of them. Unfortunately, only the sides of boxes with a height of less than 2.5 cm cannot be printed. However, the lid* and the base can also be printed on these boxes.
*For boxes with a height of less than 2.5 cm, the inside of the lid can only be printed with blind or hot foil stamping.
One print run is required for each print position and colour.
Example: 3-colour logo on the lid
This example requires 3 print runs.
Example: 3-colour logo on the lid + 2-colour logo on the inside of the lid
This example requires 5 print runs. 3 print runs on the outer lid and two for the inside of the lid.
Screen printing:
Screen printing is carried out using Pantone colours.
The following Pantone colour types are available for each box colour:
Pantone C for laminated boxes: matt white, glossy black, matt taupe, matt red, matt pink.
Pantone U for unlaminated / kraft paper boxes: black matt, natural, white kraft, grey kraft, blue kraft, brown kraft.
Hot foil stamping:
We have a large colour selection of different foils. Hot foil stamping is most commonly used for shiny effects such as gold and silver.
We would be happy to send you images of matching foil colours for your desired colour to choose from.
Blind embossing:
With blind embossing, no colour is applied to the box. In this printing process, the logo/motif is pressed/embossed into the cardboard.

Printed samples: We can usually dispatch printed samples from past customer orders on the same day. Here we select suitable samples for you based on the desired box and print colour.
Samples with your logo can be customised, the costs for this are:
Screen printing: 125 EUR* per printing colour.
Blind and hot foil stamping: 160 EUR* + 100 EUR* for each additional colour.
Unprinted samples can be ordered at any time in our shop. After ordering printed boxes, we will refund one box + standard shipping costs within Germany. (fastest solution)
Alternatively, we can also send you free samples. These must then be returned with our free return label. Please send us a short e-mail.

* Hot foil stamping:
In hot foil stamping, the coating of a foil (metallic colours) is removed by pressure and heat and pressed onto the magnetic box.This gives your logo, slogan or the corresponding graphic a shiny metallic effect, which ensures a high-quality look.Choose from: gold, silver, copper, red metallic, blue, metallic green metallic, pink metallic, black, white
* Blind embossing:
Blind embossing is an indentation without colour.With the help of a stamp, your logo, slogan or the corresponding graphic is embossed into the material of the magnetic box.This is visually visible and has a nice tactile effect.
* Screen printing:
With screen printing, your logo, slogan or the corresponding graphic is printed on the magnetic box through a fine-meshed fabric.The ink is spread with a rubber squeegee.The areas where no colour is to be printed are therefore made impermeable to colour in the fabric.
